Make her a "lounging" gift basket! You could pool your money and then buy as much stuff as you can. You should include a furry blanket ( like one of those really fuzzy ones from the sharper image ), pillow, PJs, and teddy bear! You could also include books, movies, magazines, activity books, and other things to keep her busy. Then you could arrange them in a basket or tote bag and you would have a good gift basket to make her feel more at home.
How about little gifts but include things that she can do for when shes not feeling well enough to get up. eg dvds or music, magazines, puzzles (books may be hard on her eyes on off days). Teddy bears are always nice to cuddle when you are feeling down too.
if all you guys put your money together and buy an electronic picture frame and load pictures of you guys in it for her and she will all see how much fun you guys had together
