well this may be a little weird. if you can get a pic of you, your baby and your bf and buy some cheap frames and decorate them and give them to everyone
that sounds great. baked goods are a great in-expensive and tasty way to show you care. Cookies baked with love or not, will still be cookies, and who doesn’t like a good cookie?
how lovely!! i personally like gifts like that. handmade. it’ll have a sentimental value to it. =] i’m sure they’ll love it. hey, and towards the end of the night, everyone can open up their packages that you made and each have a cup of cocoa sitting around laughing and bonding!! =]]]]]]] that sounds GREATTT!
You could buy a christmas tree shaped cookie cutter, then make sugar cookies and put green food dye in the batter. Then the cookies will look like trees. Use little icings from Grand Union for ornaments and stuff.
Then put them all in a basket, and put colored plastic wrap over it all.
I think it cookies and stuff would be really good, baking is something you have to take time to do and people will understand that you put your heart into making something instead of going out and getting something. It’s not weird at all and I would be glad to recieve a basket thing like that for Christmas, also Christmas is about giving, it does’t matter what you give, its not about material goods.
I have done baskets like this on several occasions, regardless of how much I had to spend. And guess what? Everyone LOVED the gifts!
Try baking two or three different kinds of cookies, add a couple of coffee mugs (you’ll find a huge selection of $1 mugs around the holidays) and some packs of cocoa and you’ll have a terrific gift. I’ve also gotten lots of compliments when I’ve written the recipes for the cookies down on index cards and included it with the gifts.
I do try to mix it up each year so that I don’t get bored of the gifts myself! Last year I made "movie night baskets" with a pack of microwave popcorn, two bottles of old fashioned soda pop (cool bottles!) and a $5 gift certificate for a movie rental from a local video place. Some baskets were bigger than others, depending on how close I was to the recipient; I included an entire box of the popcorn and some candy in some of the baskets, for instance.

Oh no,
I don’t think so.
That would be fine enough for Christmas
Anyways, it’s the thought that counts.

Hope this helps!
That would be a great gift. Anything from the heart is a great gift.
