Our HOA is managed by a smaller local management company. I also serve on our local HOA board with 2 other neighbors. This morning I called our management company about a leak in our building and was totally distracted by this comment. You should be equally mortified of the hideous lack of professionalism displayed by the representative of the management company. That was an absolutely horrid example of unnecessary gossip displayed by that employee and I would not EVER assume that that person would be loyal to you in the future.
The management company is supposed to work FOR the board – not be catty and trash the President to the other board members behind her back.
You apologized once. Leave it alone and I’d start making a case for a new management company.
Seriously. I’m not kidding.
That was the height of tackiness.
