get her soaps from bath & body, or a precious moments trinket-y thing. or get her a gift card to starbucks, or chocolates.

Small precious moment figures can often be found on clearance at small gift stores. Just keep checking in. Try looking online as well.
First of all, don’t be cheap on your mom. The woman gave you life. Don’t be afraid to spend $100 on her at least. I spent $300 on my mom last Christmas. Be a GOOD son and get her a puppy : )

Precious Moments are pretty easy to get and not too pricey. You can get a small collection started for $20 on ebay or for people just trying to get rid of them locally on craigslist. Getting more than one might also help make up for the fact you haven’t gotten her anything recently!
Find a recipe of her most favorite desert. Prepare it in her absence (may be in your friend s’ kitchen). Present her with a surprise after meal (it does not make difference to her if its 24th dinner or 25th).
Give her minimum 15 minutes (no limit on the maximum), watch her face with love and regards, say LESS, listen MORE.
Ask her by sitting near enough to her the followings but not limited to:
1. Your expectations from me? Do not laugh even if she desires something trivial.
2. Ask her about how did her memorable Christmas?
3. Ask her why does she like this desert?
Hold her hand and kiss her and ask "Would you be my valentine mom". Believe me this is gonna 100% marks. A mother is the first lady of ones’ life who hugs. She is pure valentine. She deserves to be eternal valentine.
I am hopeful that you’d write me at ‘adnanlooking at yahoo com’ about this memorable 25th. I’ll be waiting.
