Would you help someone who is a stranger?

We’ve all helped out friends a time or two and even got the help of a friend a time or two but, I wonder, if a complete and total stranger truly needed help, would you help them? I wonder just how charitable and giving people are or are we so afraid to extend ourselves that [...]

That’s a nice story, wish there were more people like that.
Yes…I help whenever I can…This pales in comparison with your help, but just yesterday I pulled over along side the road to help this older man who’s tool box had slid out of the back of his truck, landed on the street and everybody was driving over his possessions. You could tell he didn’t have much in life…these tools were his livelihood…
So I get out of my car…I’m barefoot and t-shirt without a bra cause I was just dropping off my daughter downtown….I’m the only one helping this guy and the big strong men in the truck are just sitting there staring at my rack as I’m walking back to my car.

First I have to commend you for doing something for someone else when they really needed it and you didnt expect anything in return. if there were more people out there like you then this world would be a much better place. I always try and do my best to help others, whether i know them or not. honestly i do as good a job as i’d like. one reason being that i cant do everything that i want due to my age. but that is no excuse. i knew someone once and he was an amazing person. he beleived strongly in God (and im not saying that you have to, to do something for another) but he always tried to help anyone he could. he would go out of his way to carry a ladies grocerys. I’ve got a story if you want to hear it. I didnt find out until 9 years after he died that he had done this when he was like 12 or 13… sorry to go on for so long. i enjoy sharing things that i think will help people though.

Yes I help people all the time. I have to think, "what if that was me, would anyone help me?" I sure hope so. I see so many homeless and hungry people that I wish I were able to open up some type of community organization to help them. My family said that if I could, I would take in every stray cat, dog and homeless person. I just wish everyone was as generous as you. That is truly and awesome thing you did. To be a blessing in anther’s person life and to see the expression of gratitude in their faces is-priceless.

The beauty in giving is that it frees us up to receive more so that we can give more! I have found no greater joy, than the joy of doing something for someone, for no other reason than the glow that it puts on a sad face! Love is what it does! So many people feel that they are ok and will always be ok, but life has a way of dealing some harsh blows when we least expect them. I call it, storing up blessings. I bless with all I have and know that the law of karma is alive and well! A closed hand neither gives or recieves and what a sad existence! For your random acts of giving; I have no doubt that you will be rewarded above and beyond anything you could ever imagine!

It depends on what kind of help they need. Like what you did is so sweet and helpful.Just be careful on who to help.
